Set up NOVA on the BETA environment
NOVA has two parts: a web app and a mobile app. Find your platform below and follow the steps to get access.
Two environments, two audiences
NOVA Web
The internal portal. Owner, Admin, and Staff accounts use it to manage projects, users, and day-to-day operations.
NOVA App
The customer app. Your clients use it on their phone to follow their own solar system and account.
How your NOVA login works
It's one account for both products, and the account's email and phone number are what create the login — the system then emails a temporary username and password, generated automatically. Registering for the Android program or the TestFlight invite (below) is a separate step: it only grants download access and doesn't create a login by itself.
Email + temporary password
Sign in with the registered email (as username) and the temporary password sent by email.
Phone + temporary password + OTP
Sign in with the phone number and that same temporary password. As part of sign-in, a one-time code (OTP) is sent to the account's email to confirm it's you.
Request an account
One form for either product — works for an Owner/Admin/Staff login or a client's login. Leave the email and phone number and we'll set it up.
You'll get a temporary username and password by email — that's your login for both Web and the app.
Web
Open NOVA directly in your browser, on desktop or mobile. Nothing to download — bookmark the link so you can come back any time. This environment is for the internal team, not for customers.

App — for clients
Two separate things happen here: setting up the client's account (use the “Request an account” form near the top of the page, once), and getting the app onto their phone (Android or iOS, below).
Android
Choose whichever option works best for the client.
Option A — Install the APK directly
- Download the APK using the button below.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android blocks it, allow installs from this source when prompted.
- Tap Install and wait for it to finish.
- Open NOVA and sign in with the client's account.
Option B — Register for the Android program
Prefer not to install the APK manually? Leave the Gmail address linked to the client's Android phone and we'll add it to our Android distribution list — this is just for download access, not the account login.
Don't forget to also use the “Request an account” form above — this form alone doesn't create a login.
iOS
iOS betas are distributed through Apple's TestFlight app — Apple doesn't allow installing apps outside the App Store or TestFlight, even during a beta.
- Leave the client's email below — we'll send a TestFlight invite.
- Install TestFlight from the App Store, if it isn't already installed.
- Open the invite email on the iPhone or iPad and tap “View in TestFlight.”
- Tap Install to get NOVA. TestFlight will notify the client automatically when a new beta build is ready.
The email can be anything the client can open on their iPhone — it's only used for the TestFlight invite, not the account login. Don't forget to also use the “Request an account” form above.
